Re: The FOX has President Obama on the run!
I watched the portion of the interview on the health reform bill only because I'm too tired to watch this entire thing in one sitting, and because I majored in health care management. I do not think that President Obama said anything that swayed anyone; whether or not you are for the health care plan he is proposing or against the plan. I believe that most everyone will remain either left, right, or neutral on the health reform issue. I think because is so mono-toned when he speaks he isn't affecting people either way. Unless you get so annoyed you either change the channel or fall asleep. I started to nod off towards the end of this section.
I think Bret Baier wanted the interview to be very exciting and fiery, but he didn't get that result. I'm quite sure he was very excited about the interview, but I think he was overzealous and kept interrupting the President. I do understand journalism, however, it comes off as disrespectful when you interrupt the President. It looks even worse when the President points it out, as well as your FOX colleague. The President made a mistake with his approach to this interview. He didn't take the opportunity to present new information to the American people, and think anyone who watched this was probably looking for that, no matter what political party one follows. It was a missed opportunity. I truly wonder if his cabinet or even the First Lady told him that.
Not an impressive interview....I still can't get over how much makeup they put on him. Not to mention it just didn't match his skin tone....that make up person needs to schooled on that one. Isn't that taught in Foundation 101?
