Re: An Angel Highway?

I think he has blessed many people around the world...as humans we all have our opinions and ideas about things but we can see good in just about everyone..

Re: An Angel Highway?

I love angels myself. In fact I most always sleep with one.

Sister, I am sure there are more here that would love to hear your stories than those who would not or would make fun. Please share!!!

Re: An Angel Highway?

Stoneking's teachings on angelology are just as fruity as his doctrine on HMH ... many of the angel teachings over the years have been extrabiblical in scope and contradict what the Word teaches on these celestial beings.

Re: An Angel Highway?

I marvel how many of these org pastors squirm at the prophetic and gifts of the Spirit being taught and active in their congregations but tolerate these hair and angel teachings.

The Deja Vu stuff is frightening.

The sensationalism marketed in these teachings seems to have a niche in many areas.

I understand Reider has a similar fascination ... I understand the church her former husband pastored was decored excessively with cherubim ... this pervaded in the home decor ... and a child named Angel.

I think Digging's thread on mysticism ... may help in understanding this phenomena.

Some are looking for something ... a realm .... beyond Pentecost.

I certainly don't discount the stories of angelic visitations witnessed by many including my dad ... but when one starts teaching that things like deja vu being linked an angel's memories ... it starts to get scary.

I've heard him say that before. You can tell the audience wasn't buying it. Especially him saying that he could see they needed to "digest" that. LOL! No, I don't think so.

Tired of the superstition in the Catholic Church, not doing it here. I will look to Jesus the author and finisher of my faith. If HE decides to send a ministering spirit, I will take it, but I won't seek it.

Exactly. Some of this borders on worship of angels, which I KNOW God cannot be pleased with.

I believe in angels, but I'm not going to worship them, or think about them excessively.
