No.
Also, another verse that speaks of the saints judging is Rev 20:4
20:4 Then I saw thrones and seated on them were those who had been given authority to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. These had not worshiped the beast or his image and had refused to receive his mark on their forehead or hand. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

Well we certainly know (or it shouldn't be too hard to see) that Acts 2 won't be in place in the New Jerusalem. Thus every commandment for attaining salvation seems to have some duration. I would understand it to be lasting until the Lord replaces it with other requirements. The reason I'm doubtful about Acts 2 being in place during the millennium is that there are completely different circumstances in place. In the next age there's no devil to confront humanity, thus spiritual warfare doesn't exist. Is it even possible at this time to imagine what kind of earth this would be if just that condition were in place now. But further, the Lord himself is on the earth ruling from Jerusalem, and this condition changes things greatly too.

Amen I love reading about the 1000 year reign. It is the transformation of this present evil world into one of peace, and joy, and love. It should be taught on much more same as the resurrection.

Paul said that we would be judging angels, can this be referring to that?
The reason I asked about if people that were left had recieved the mark is because the Bible says everyone will, that if it were possible even the elect would be decieved, so who else would be left? and if they would be saved from thier fate during the millenium......................................... .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................... not that I'm thinking about recieving the mark.lol.

It says no such thing. This is purely someone's foolishness, which will deceive many, unfortunately. Look at Rev 15:2 to see that people were victorious over the mark. Now the beast was certainly able to fool people of all classes, but he most certainly didn't fool the saints. If anyone is teaching this they're simply giving a carnal interpretation, and are making things up. Ignore them is my suggestion.

Well the elect were not deceived, because Paul said in Thes, that we're not in darkness, that that day should overtake us. There most likely (because the scripture isn't explicit here) will be people left on the earth following the judgment, but unfortunately they'll have to see the demonstration of God's wrath as a consequence of their unbelief. If the Lord intended to remove everyone on the earth who was unsaved at His coming, then I don't see any good explanation for the last vial of his wrath, which includes a great earthquake. It wouldn't seem to make any sense IMO.

Funny that the bible says differently.
Hebrews 12:22-23 KJV But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, (23) To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
Galatians 4:26 KJV But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
I am in the Heavenly Jerusalem now, and I enjoy Acts 2:38. Paul said if any man preach any other gospel, let him be accursed. He included ANGELS. And that is a direct implication that the ANGEL preaching the EVERLASTING GOSPEL in Revelation must be preached Acts 2:38, or HE IS A DEMON, and we know he is not a devil!
Galatians 1:8-9 KJV But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. (9) As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
Revelation 14:6 KJV And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

Re: What's the point of the 1000 yr reign?
A question we must ask is that Jesus taught The Kingdom of Heaven was at hand or near ,has the Kingdom come or is it yet to come ?
If one is in the church are they not also in The Kingdom Of God as well ?

That reference is so vague if it is talking about the millennium that I think there would be MUCH MORE to it than just that reference.
Millennial teachings are all based on such VAGUE references to it, if it is true, for me to not believe it can be referring to that.

I agree blume.
In my studies I can tell you that when folks are Raptured out of here they are going to a wedding feast. Then the bride of Christ is coming back with the Lord when he sets up his kingdom here for a thousand years.Satan will be bound this thousand years. Now in having said this we have got to remember the ones left here on this earth has yet to taste death.Children will be born and people will die because they are still in their earthly body, also lets not forget that at the end of the thousand years satan is loosed and all hell breaks out on this earth. This all happens leading up to the Armageddon war.Now we already know that satan looses and is finally tossed into the lake of fire.Kinda sounds a little sick but I am hoping to see the demise(well the end of troubling man and God) of satan, yep I want be standing within sight as he is thrown over.

Are you lifting my words out of context here too? Go back and look at TJJJ's question if the "PLAN OF SALVATION" will be in place during the millennial reign. I said as far as I understood scripture, no it won't. I fully understand we're in the spiritual realm, but we certainly aren't in the New Jerusalem. I suppose in one sense we're in the spiritual kingdom but there's more to come, and it'll be seen in the age to come. This is not all there is.

And I was referring to the NJ of REV 21.

And what are you implying with these words? I'm the devil?? How does Gal 1 even enter here?
Once death and hell are swallowed up there's no more redemptive work to be done, therefore Acts 2:38 is only for the church age. That's what our discussion was about.
Now please stop lifting my words out of context, or implying I'm a devil.
Good grief!!
