My father (an Awesome Apostolic man) was on his death bed and in a comatose state, his twin brother was by his side day and night. We knew death was close, it was Sunday morning and my uncle felt impressed that my dad would want his family in church that day. So we all went to service, my husband was carrying a beeper incase we were needed back at the hosptial.
There was an awesome Presence of God as we entered the service a little late and our souls were fed. A little later my Pastor began reading the text for his message and when he got to the part that said "Angels were Asending and Desending" the beeper my husband was carrying went off. When we arrived at the hospital my father was gone.
My uncle then began to tell us about his passing. He stated that the doctor was in the room with him and they were talking while standing at the foot of my fathers bed and they had their back to my father. My uncle then stated that he felt someone bump into the back of him as if trying to get by him, he assumed that it was nurse that had come in unnoticed. As he turned to look and see who was there, my father was taking his last breath and he didn't see anyone else there. My Uncle feels very strongly (and so do I) that it was the death Angel that had come into the room to take him on to Glory.

you referenced a "death Angel".... have you studied about that type of angel before?? my knowledge somewhat is limited regarding that matter.... anyone else can chime in as well, if you have something to share....

I have not studied on this before, but I like the idea that we are escorted from this world. I have heard other stories of people seeing Angels before dying!

I attended a Christian School and during a prayer service at one of our Chapel Services a situation occurred with another student. I will never forget it as long as I live. I was only 13 at the time and the girl we were praying for was a couple of years older and had a shaded history. She was praying and crying, then all of a sudden she stopped and started snarling at us. We were not able to understand her because her speech was slurred, the tone of her voice was changed, her eyes were blaring. We began Rebuking the devil, someone placed a Bible in her arms and she began to cringe, she fell to the floor and we grabbed all the Bibles we could find and placed them around her. She began slithering on top of the Bibles just like a snake. I have never witnessed anything like that ever. Our Pastor came in and made most of us leave to the gym, but it was relayed to me that he spoke to the spirit and asked it if it knew the Apostle Paul and asked if it knew Jesus and then asked if it knew him. After answering yes to all of these, he commanded that the Spirit leave her and it did!! After that there was a whole about the size of a quarter in one of the classroom windows and no one knew how it got there.
