I talked to a friend of mine yesterday and he told me the temp there was cold.......it was 67. If he were closer, I'd have hit him.

I live in SW Ohio about 20 miles or so north of the Ohio River. I'm right at the northern part of Hamilton County and closer to the city of Hamilton than I am to the city of Cincinnati.
Temperature in Hamilton right now is 28 degrees which is the highest it's been today. It was about 22 earlier. We are having light rain. We had 4-6 inches of snow earlier today. Now with the light rain (I really don't know how it can rain when the temperature is in the twenties and below freezing) we have a shiny glaze of ice over everything.
The prayer meeting I usually go to in Hamilton on Wednesday mornings has been cancelled. Schools etc in the Cincinnati and Hamilton area are cancelled so that means our Wednesday night midweek service is also cancelled. If Hamilton City schools close our church services are cancelled. I'll probably just save my message/Bible study (which is lying here on my desk in an incomplete form) for next week.

We got about 4 inches of snow on top of 4 inches of sleet. My lab is outside having fun, and my daughter is attempting to shovel while he runs around her.
My van is stuck in the driveway, and I am expecting company in about 6-8 hours, so I'm trying to get things cleaned up!
It's very pretty here, scenery we don't see here very often, although it was a sight that was constant in WI. This will all be gone in a week, which will be nice!
