I remember well attending the funeral and I don't think I'll ever forget the morning my dad came and told me about the fatal accident. Another special man who was a dear friend of my dad's. Visited in our home many times.
When I was reading that log of names from the funeral, I just kept thinking what a small world it really is!!! I knew so many people on that list, even though I'd never even heard of Eddie back then.
Let's see.........Claudette would have been 22 then, I suppose. She's 6 years older than me, I think. I was 16 at the time, because Eddie was 14, but I didn't know him back then.
The first time I ever saw him, he was at FPC in Jackson, MS with his mom when I was a freshman at JCM (PBI). Bro. Craft had them on the platform, talking about his dad dying, and I thought, "he's a cute little kid". LOL!
Little did you know!
If I would have seen Keith when I was 16--I probably would have thought the same thing!
