They have to choose a Justice that doesn't legislate from the bench. Isn't that correct? Don't they want them to uphold the decisions of the elected branches unless those decisions are plainly and unquestionably unconstitutional?

I think that if you would ask most of the constituents of the GOP and certainly those here for whom abortion is a deciding factor in their vote, they would consider Roe v. Wade a significant enough issue..... You are really tring to suck me in, but I will wait as I have to take off. (Willing myself: I must log off, I must log off, I must log off)

Abortion will never go away. The issue will never be resolved. The Government is incapable of resolving the issue. It should be addressed as a private social issue by private institutions and churches.
