I guess I look at it like having a Christmas tree, opening gifts, etc. It really has nothing to do with the birth of Jesus; it's just traditions of men. That's how the Easter egg hunt is, I guess.

I don't know about that .. I just started congregating there in early Nov.

but this just came in for Elder E:

On Easter Sunday, April 8th, the Easter Bunny will be at COC. He needs your help supplying prizes & candy filled eggs. If you can help the Easter Bunny, bring your prizes and plastic (candy-filled) eggs to the Sunday School office.

At least 4-5 years ago they were flying him in on a helicopter.

I guess so.... I find myself swalling hard a biting my tongue alot at such "events".
