Re: More reasons to vote Obama!

I've read Obama's website and educated myself on the policies and positions he is bringing to the table. He's too liberal for me to be comfortable voting for him. Yes, my opinion is that some of his proposed ideas border too close to outright socialism. My first sentence was indeed an extreme exaggeration, however if we continue to allow more liberal and socialist politicians into office, we may very well end up with that scenario coming to pass.

Oh Rico come on, you left yourself wide open on this one. Dangerous ground to comment on...considering we just lived thru wild Bill Clinton who without contestation had the most libelous presidency in history. He is such a proficient liar he actually believes his own lies as he tells them. When the dictionary defines PATHOLOGICAL LIAR his picture should be beside it, even his supporters acknowledge it with a grin and, "thats just Bill!"
The WSJ did an expose' on his scandals, they ran it on the front page and had to run for 2 days. More "stuff" than ANY other pres...and he rode into town with the promise to clean up washington. Claiming the right of moral high ground. What a dismal failure in that regard!!!!

Yeah. I can't wait until Bush gets out of office and the floodgates open on his administration.

I posted in another subject, but it bears repeating...this is an email I got. I think it is well written:

CHANGE
“An open Letter from the Preacher”
by Dr. Hilton Sutton

“My son, (reverently) fear the Lord and the king, and do not associate with those who are given to change (of allegiance, and are revolutionary) for their calamity shall rise suddenly, and who knows the punishment and ruin which both (the Lord and the king) will bring upon (the rebellious).” Proverbs 24:21-22 (amp bible)

Today a strong political call for change is being made throughout our land. However, no clear definition of this change has been established. What we hear is a clarion call for socialism, the opposite of a Republic.

Our Pledge of Allegiance states; “I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.”

We are and were created a Republic, not a democracy. We are a Republic that operates as a democracy. Our nation, although young, has the longest running history of government of any nation. Because we are a God-Fearing Republic, we are the most BLESSED nation on this planet. If that were not so, then why are tens of thousands from many countries trying to relocate here; even through illegal means.

Our founding fathers were God fearing men. Because of excessive taxation, without representation and legalistic state supported religion they braved the unknown, fought and established this nation built on Judeo Christian Law and Christianity.

The present call for change is for a return to what our forefather’s turned from, to form, “a more perfect union, to establish justice, insure domestic tranquilly, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and secure the Blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, to ordain and established the constitution for the United States of America.” If you are a God fearing person, VOTE your righteousness.

The coming presidential election is critical. As a voter, you must VOTE! Use good sense and your heart, not political emotions. Be very careful for whom you vote. Socialism requires huge governmental control of ones daily living.

Re: More reasons to vote Obama!

I'm not sure what is worse-- the fact that there are folks out there that really do think Obama is a Muslim or that he supports Al Quaeda or the fact that you have decided to bring that garbage here.

Stick with the truth and you'll never go wrong!
