Re: Pray for OA

Thanks for praying, folks. Its comforting to know that, while I'm sitting on an exam table half naked (upper half), somewhere in this big old world, somebody is praying for me.

Okay, heres the deal- don't know how to say this. In my left chest area I have had some pain and some swelling. Thought it was due to brusing by lifting AC unit. But... it wasn't going away. In fact, it was getting bigger and more painful. I'm sitting here now with no shirt on cause wearing a shirt makes it feel like a needle is being stuck where no needle should be stuck. So, given the fact that, yes, men do get breast cancer, I thought it might be wise to see whats going on. After a few minutes of getting pinched in a place that no man should be pinching another man, the doctor says there is no evidence of whatever of that big word he used. No cancer. Probably a deep bruise from lifting something (Thats what I first thought, I shoulda been a doctor.) Could be infection. Prescription for antibotics. X rays. No sign of nothing. Go back in 10 days for followup. If no improvement- mamogram and more pinching. I really, really don't like to be pinched there, especially now- it hurts like everything.

MY BP is, as the doctor said, as close to perfect as it could be for a man of 52 (Thats when it was revealed to me that I am now 51... not 52. (Its bad when a doctor has to tell you how old you are). Blood looks good (looks red to me) and I am in relatively good health (tell that to my aching back). Except for this...this... whatever it is.

But I appreciate the prayers. I don't go to Dr. much. Its just good to know there are people who care enough to pray.
