I respect those that follow standards as a part of their spritual walk with God.
What I respect even more is tolerance of each other.
Right.... Respect has to go both ways.... I respect "people" in general. I hold to the standards and have no desire to let them go. I have embraced this truth and don't want to let it go... But to put others down is useless. AND that goes both ways. I understand the most on here don't hold to standards and I don't blast them... But threads like this are very mocking to those who do hold to standards.....Respect needs to go both ways........It is not only the conservatives who have the bad attitudes toward others... In the last couple of years on the forums, I have seen Ucer's with bad attitudes and just as much, I have seen many liberals with a very negative, bitter nasty attitude toward standards and thoe who hold to them.... Again, Respect must go both ways!

Because he was commending the spirit of her post and continued on to speak his mind on the original post and thread. But his first item of business was to say something nice to Renda.

I still think he should have separated the posts. It wasn't entirely clear that he wasn't including her in the response. "That aside" can also be seen as a dismissive statement.
I am not saying he didn't have the right to respond, I just think he could have chosen a better way to do it.
