Whatever, shazy. You love to pretend you're above it all and you know it all. You constantly lecture conservatives about how dumb they are and how much better you are. Call me a troll, claim I'm pretending to be a Christian, whatever. It's all about YOU. We're not worthy.

and this is untrue in what way again? This rule applies, as I said, to all gatherings in all public places and private homes in Saudi communities.

It does not apply to expat communities.

What you just did tho by acknowledging this was acknowledge that services are ALSO held outside the compounds and expat communities, which makes your "only" another lie. Thanks. My comment only indicated that if you are going to do that, you should follow the rules and these people obviously did not.

No, I didn't. I've posted the reports which state it only happens in compounds or Embassies because SA forbids any non-islamic worship by penalty of deportation, jail time or death.

Nowhere does any report I've posted state that there are services outside the compounds or Embassies.

Yet we are discussing an article about a group that was having services outside the compounds and embassies.

You posted that article in this thread in post #36 to "prove" some long lost irrelevant point. After you posted that report I answered it with this:

“It was reported to ICC that 27 of the group were held overnight and then released the next day (Saturday),” Todd Daniels, the religious freedom group’s Middle East manager, told Aleteia today. “One of the men, a leader of the group, was held until Sunday morning. ICC was told that the explanation for that was that a sponsor for his visa was out of the country and had to be consulted before he was released.”

The Saudi Gazette, basing its article on Alsharq daily of Qatar, reported that officers of the “Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice” (known as the Haia) responded to a resident’s report of “suspicious activities” in a house in the city of Khafji.

Daniels said the persons arrested were largely expatriate workers from South Asia. “They have met regularly for quite some time without serious incident,” he said.

That one. The one where they met quite regularly for some time. In a house. Not in an embassy or compound.

You posted the report about it. You later stated (your words are in Post 127)

"They all are in non-descript buildings, hidden away in Embassies or compounds - both of which are free areas where the SA "Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice have no authority."

So you know that also. In knowing that, and in posting a report about a home that was raided, you knowingly (accidentally - grin) posted a report about a service being held outside a compound which according to the ICC Religious Freedom Group's Middle East manager had been "going on for quite some time".

Now you are pretending you did not?

"Nowhere does any report I've posted state that there are services outside the compounds or Embassies. " is thus and therefore an untrue statement.

NOTE: That is how you prove a lie.

NOT: "You implied that services are openly held all over town and you implied a lie".
NOT: "You said "they have services" and you said that "they have a building" but you later added "where they live" so the first two are a lie"

That's just stupid.

NEXT UP: When you get back, we will play my favorite game "fun with numbers" and compound count LOL

Re: Happy Birthday, President Reagan

You have abundantly established that SA is not the US--Iow, what we all knew already--where we invite the mixing of cultures regardless of the many Scriptural admonitions not to do so. We are Christians, so it seems much more cogent to discuss

"When you go into the lands of the Hittites, and Jebuvites, and Parasites, kill everything; men, women, children, livestock..."

Again, the context was religious freedom in Saudi Arabia; not religious freedom inside an expat compound.
You are the one who posted a story about a raided house. Which makes your "fact" above actually not a fact. To post one then claim something else is a "fact" is not the deed of an honest person.

It was actually about religious freedom for your christian colleagues here. If the expat compounds were somewhere other than Saudi Arabia the second statement would not be ridiculous.

That's just funny.

You likely know this already.
Well except for that story YOU posted. In that one, they were "typically let go the day after".

Perhaps you should google another story. Except if you find one, then it will be another story of services outside of compounds and embassies. Which bunks your earlier point which by the way you went on and on about it seems to be a critical part of your little brick wall of articles and wiki research LOL.

Now now zeep no need to bring the Israelis and their child-sniping and home-bulldozing practices into this thread LOL

I am beginning to believe I am talking (typing LOL) to a real live nutjob. Are you actually mental? Tell us.
