"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Yup, but PO was too busy working her spreadsheet on how her fringe element was magically going to derail Romney's nomination to notice who had sung!

LOL! First of all, get if right - I am not a Ron Paul supporter. And I don't know of any anti-Romney people, except Paul supporters, that think Romney isn't getting the nomination.
I am following a delegate story and it's nothing more than that so stop making it into something more than that.
You might have been an Admin so long and been in people's business so long that you are suspicious of everyone's actions. I've seen that before.

Re: The Real Delegate Count - it's not over
It's so uncanny the parallelism between Islam and Mormonism and we want to vote this man, who is very involved in his religion, as President. I just think that is so weird that we don't seem to care. I keep thinking of the Israelites rejecting God and paying the price.
Pretty strong words by John MacArthur - "It is a damning religious system. It is so far from Christianity as to be more like paganism than Christianity."

Re: The Real Delegate Count - it's not over
The Articles of Faith
of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.
We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam's transgression.
We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.
We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.
We believe that a man must be called of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof.
We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.
We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.
We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.
We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.
We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.
We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.
We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

Re: The Real Delegate Count - it's not over
And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.
And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.

PO - if you had two choices for religion, BHO's or Mitt's which one would you pick?

I don't have doubts about Romney being an American. BO I have serious doubts about.

Do you think our country is hurting for a lack of policemen, firemen and teachers? I don't think that's wherE we need to be funneling tax dollars. We'll always have plenty of those civil servants.

The only way we won't have enough policemen, firemen, or teachers is if we keep an ultra liberal Democrat as President who will do his best to prop up the unions who make unreasonable demands that can't be funded over the long haul and thus jeopordize a community's ability to hire enough of those civil servants.
Just look at how the Obama directed National Labor Relations Board tried to come down on Boeing for building a new airplane assembly plant in a right to work state. They accused Boeing of "punishing" the Washington state unions that hold Boeing hostage every few years with strikes until they get what they want in raises and benefits. Instead of understanding that they were forcing Boeing to expand in a different area where this threat would not be hanging over it's corporate head they tried to act like Boeing was doing something wrong.
