Re: Why I'm Against Perry

LOL! I love this clip, especially at 0:12. Perry is not afraid to confront. The boy is asking him about "infrastructure". As though that is a bad thing.

As Marco Rubio stated in his recent speech at The Reagan Library - "And it is the proper role of government to invest in infrastructure. Yes, government should build roads and bridges, but it should do so as part of economic development as part of infrastructure. Not as a jobs program."

Texas is having economic development and so infrastructure will be part of that economy as well. It is not a jobs program for Texas.

well ,I'd be for either one of those lads if they implimented my pre emtive strike plans..

I know neither one had the guts to to do it.... Maybe Perry would...

But this I would have done instead of Attack Iraq or any Muslim nation..except for those responsible for 9/11....but in the 10 years to catch this guy , he and all al queda would have been thouroughly entertained by my on brand of war..I assure you that no Muslim would ever attack this nation again...they would be too busy trying to put out the fire..

Every major Muslim population center would be so completely under our influience by now..think about that..

but how could it be..and I say so absolutely easy...

the fact is this idea goes back to the summer before 9/11 ...
it is the result of coming to believe that the image of the Beast mentioned in Revelation is war. a belief which is reinforced by Revelation 6:14-17 ; Revelation 13:9-10; and Matthew 26:52, along with a few other new testament scriptures and above all the martyrs of Jesus in revelation 6:9-11..The fact that they conquered the Roman Empire without arms..is a testimony to the greatness of the Kingdom of God; and puts them on par with the slaves who left Egypt..

Though the United States is not a Christian nation , we keep screaming it so we oughta ack like it..

and load up our stealth aircraft and drop millions of tons of new Testaments in the native languages of the Muslim nations along with North Korea every night..saturation bomb their major population areas continiously.

on the inside cover of these new testaments is the verse printed from James 3;17..

Re: Why I'm Against Perry

I have still been studying the Gardasil issue. It is coming up for a mandate in California. They will be able to dispense the vaccine without a parent's permission. That is not how it was going to go down in Texas.

Anyway, Michelle Malkin was criticizing Perry not only for the opt out, but saying that insurance companies were not allowed to opt out of providing insurance for any mandated vaccine. This appears to be true.

Quote:
TEX IN. CODE ANN. § 1367.053 : Texas Statutes - Section 1367.053: COVERAGE REQUIRED

(a) A health benefit plan that provides coverage for a family member of an insured or enrollee shall provide for each covered child from birth through the date of the child's sixth birthday coverage for:

(1) immunization against:

(A) diphtheria;

(B) haemophilus influenzae type b;

(C) hepatitis B;

(D) measles;

(E) mumps;

(F) pertussis;

(G) polio;

(H) rubella;

(I) tetanus; and

(J) varicella; and

(2) any other immunization that is required for the child by law.

I am noticing that 29 other states have the same law. I wonder what the other 21 have on the books?

Quote:
According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, at least 29 states require insurance companies to cover childhood immunizations. States vary on which immunizations are covered. Some require those vaccines recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics or the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). Some of these states choose to include an immunization mandate as part of their "well-child" coverage. In this case, the requirement covers a wide variety of preventive services for children, which includes the recommended immunizations.

Re: Why I'm Against Perry

Pressing, I believe that Perry stated that one of the main reasons he issued the EO was to make is a manditory vaccine so it would be covered by Insurance companies.

The cost of the vaccine is like 100 to 200 per dose and it takes 3 doses.

What I dont remember is if the orriginal EO included an opt out?

That takes a bit of the sting out of my complaint with Perry having that understanding. I still think he jumped the gun and the opt out could have been clearer, but he certainly backed down when he say the view of the people.

Well, from what I remember when we were homeschooling, the opt out was put in at the beginning, because it is already there for every other mandated vaccine in the state. I don't see why they would not have an opt out when we fought so hard to have the conscientious exemption put in place.

Michelle Malkin is now coming at Perry, aside from the HPV vaccine, for mandating the insurance companies to cover it. I really didn't know that it was state law for insurance companies to cover all of our state mandated vaccines. And I'm finding out that not all of the states do that. What do you think about that?
