I like:
Mulberry from anyone who makes a good mulberry LOL
Black Cherry from Wal Mart
Home Sweet Home from Yankee
Sandlewood Vanilla from Bath and Body (along with their wall flowers)
I like a good pumpkin spice during the fall holidays.
I dont care for the sweet smells as they are too much or most of the florals b/c they smell like you are trying to cover up something in the bathroom LOL
Some candles smell good until you light them....
like the coffee one from Yankee Candle...dont make the mistake in buying it..it's vomit worthy
|
I've never smelled Mulberry. I have a Black Cherry still in the bottle.
Home Sweet Home from Yankee. That's the one my mother likes. Thanks! I'll bring her some of mine. lol
I was just opening a bottle of Vanilla Sandalwood this morning!!! It is so nice!!!!!
Yes, you are right. Some smell good until you light them. It's called the "cold throw" when it's not lit. The whole smell can change once you do light them. Lots of testing and money!!!!!!
LOL! I have a Turkish Hazelnut that is very, very nice. I posted a picture of that a few pages back.
Thanks for you input!!! I normally only get to chat with candle makers. It is great for me to listen to all the candles buyers input!!!!

Yes, definitely need to try the Passionate Kisses.
I have one that I sell called "Lick Me All Over"
I changed the name. Haven't put it on the shelf yet. Just presented it in votives at Valentine's Day. I'm waiting for my new labels. My husband named this one, but I can't remember what it is!!!! I have to look through my paperwork. lol
Just remembered: Lost in Paradise - very cool of him!!!

Yes, he is!!! As long as he doesn't think "manly" is smelling like "hotcakes". That is Ferd's version of "manly" - I think!

I haven't tried one. I just looked at one in a store a few months back. I loved the jars and the wicks were really cool looking.

Re: Candle Scents - Your favorites?
I sell a lot of this one. It's called Butt Naked!!
The tantalizing base note medley of granny smith apples and honeydew melon, middle notes of strawberries and pears, with hints of spice
I changed the name to Garden of Eden.

I would like to try one, but after spending so much on my own supplies it feels stupid to go buy a candle. LOL! I do go into stores and look through what they have, smell some, recognize scents and make notes of what is selling.

Re: Candle Scents - Your favorites?
I would think the "name" sometimes sells the candy even more than the fragrance!
