Re: Apology to World

Wii- I believe you are racist because you appear to separate people into colors instead of seeing just people. Furthermore, you seem to see hatred based on race where race wasn't even part of the discussion.

So, I ask again. Were you brought up in a color focused family OR were you eyes "opened" to racism when you became a Muslim?

Wii-

Curiousity...

1. What makes you "obviously" American?

2. What makes you American other than birth? What do you have in common with Americans in general?

Re: Apology to World

What a difficult question. hm. What is a "color focused" family? How does one "appear to separate people into colors?"

If "appearing to separate people into colors" is noting (and making fun of) that audiences from the right are relatively "color-free" I guess you are correct in drawing that conclusion. What then constitutes "separating"? Is it the lack of color in the actual audience or is it the observation of the audience itself? From my standpoint, the separation occurs in the drawing together of the audience. From your standpoint, the separation occurs in making the observation. Our viewpoints differ in this.

Does noting the phenomenom make one a racist or does the phenomenom itself denote the appearance of racism?

You, of course are free to believe what you wish. My life is not "color free" by any means lol. How bout you?

(laughing) I realize that it is difficult for you to think of a Muslim as a real person, but (do not be stunned) I have a home, and parents, and brothers, and sisters, and friends, and a life in the US

Wii- What is a color focused family? A racist family...

Why do I ask? Because you have brought up skin color in several posts with intent to smear. The question remains. Were you taught to look at the world this way in your family or at the Mosque?

Looking at the audience who shows up to hear a white southen preacher speak a few words and play a musical instrument does not gage racism UNLESS the words spoken give rise to such an argument or the opportunity to participate is restricted to said audience.

WOAH!!! You forget that I actually have had Muslims in my home for dinner and greatly respect most American Muslims (that are glad to be here). You forget that one of my son's best friends in high school was a Muslim.

I have no trouble at all calling them American.

1. So I ask you again, why is it obvious to those in Saudi Arabia that you are an American?

2. Outside of being born into an American family what do you feel you have in common with America?

Re: Apology to World

I am sure you can believe or make up whatever you wish on someone else's "intent". Do you feel smeared? It's only the internet which makes it business and not personal. You should see some of the stuff that gets said about muslims lol....but you probably have

OK - explanations -

The crack at soun was because soun is an ACE rep. Whatever that is. Through the south for two decades ACE church school sprung up all over from nowhere to dodge, can you guess? busing and desegregation. SO - I was taking a cheap shot.

The crack at prax was because he told me, in another thread, to go visit a pennycostal church (a prayer meeting). It was not long before he posted a goat with its tail up and suggested the Muslims have relations with their goats. "In the name of Jesus" Anyway, many (if not most) pennycostal churches (once were) segregated. Even in the same cities. The pentecostal website still lists different "ministries". One of their "ministries" is "black evangelism" like "black evangelism" is different from any other evangelism. SO - I was taking a cheap shot.

The "religious right" HATES obama and picks through every word he says while trying to spin something negative from it. Obama is non-white. All-white pennycostals and ACE school reps who also are part of the "religious right" make an easy target in that context. SO - I was taking a cheap shot.

SO once again - does making fun of the desegregation-dodging or the desegregation-dodging itself constitute racism? Does listing "black evangelism" and "spanish evangelism" imply a "color-focused" church or does the one who makes fun of it HAVE to come from a "color-focused" family?

lol please ponder and get back with me on this....

If color-focus is (so very) sensitive then I am not sure I would recommend putting "color-focused" evangelism on my website. lol

Wii- I don't understand your answers to this question....

Why would you need security contractors to escort you around given that you would not strike anyone as remotely Ameican?

You said you were OBVIOUSLY American [to those in Saudi Arabi]. How so? Why would they know that? Family back home is unknown to them. So what IDENTIFIES YOU AS AN AMERICAN in your host country?

Outside of being born in Amercia, what do you have in common with America?
