I don't know. The picture is not very good quality. I think it's Buck, Dottie, and another woman.

That's Shirley Coughran. I'm possibly mispelling the last name. Either Shirley left the trio or Buck and Dottie went on there own. Shirley and Will Coughran formed the Apostolic Clefs with Mike and Sharon Spector. (possible misspell). Mike and Sharon were brothers and sisters. Then Sharon married Paul Haygood and they started their own group. I could be wrong on some this info. This was back in the early to mid 60's.
I also remember seeing the Rambos at the Minden UPC church on Sunday afternoons.

Re: Dottie Rambo Killed in Bus Accident
Dottie Rambo's funeral will be at 1 PM on Monday, May 18th.
Complete details will be forthcoming.
Larry Ferguson came through an extensive surgery this afternoon. He is in stable condition and recovering; however, he is still in critical care.
The bus driver Ronnie is also stable but in critical care.
Chris Barnes remains in critical care and is still awaiting surgery.

Re: Dottie Rambo Killed in Bus Accident
Regardless of how it happened, this is a tragedy. Her songs will forever be in our churches.
I tend to believe the storm is to blame. The bus doesn't look damaged enough to cause such extensive injuries. Since there are no witnesses, it is possible the tornado picked the bus up, slung it around and then landed it skidding into the ravine.

I was hoping the funeral would be at my church. I will do my best to be there. This will be the second female Gospel music giant to have her funeral at CC. Just a few years ago Vestal Goodman's funeral was there and she is interned with Howard behind the church in the CC cemetary.
