AFF will have much freedom, but not at the cost of allowing vicious or hateful personal attacks.... those days are gone....

Because of the circumstances that created NFCF, I think they were too afraid to ban people that acted inappropriately. Bans are not the end of the world. I can't do it justice, but I like timlan's analogy of the penalty box in hockey; it's part of the game.

He doesn't like his threads getting hijacked...I hope he's not trying to use his authority in an incorrect manner...

I think his authority isnt ours to question and I think he is doing a good job and that your comment here was pretty uncalled for but since I am not an admin I will just state my opinion... Sounds like someones just tempting admin to see if he can be the first to be banned...

Realistically, the initial posts on this thread are reminiscent of the beginnings of NFCF. It is not the beginning that matter so much as the journey itself.
I would officially like to know who ALL of the owners are. I think that should be known. JMO.

And to what extent would you change if it were known?

The thing I have noticed about AFF is that, while, yes, there are disagreements between people, it seems people aren't getting personal and going on the attack. People seem to be putting forth a little more effort in being cordial and respectful even when they disagree. This is a good thing! Seems we have noted the past mistakes and are putting forth a real effort to avoid going down that same road again. I'd like to see Bro. Strange back among us.
