Maybe it just needs an asterisk..

Re: Curse words

I see people in here interchanging "cursing" with "swearing". Big difference.

Cursing is actually pronouncing a curse on someone. "go to......." is a curse. You want them to be dammed forever.

Swearing is using "forbidden" words everything from the "Sissy" words to the the big "F" word.

I don't wish anyone go to Hell, so I won't curse them or wish it on them.

I have been taught by parents, who didn't go to church, by the way, that even the f**t word was swearing and I wasn't allowed to say it.

I was taught that people with a vocabulary didn't need to use "gutter talk" as my mother used to put it.

But I remember one time mumbling "shoot" under my breath and the pastor said, "What did you say?" When I told him, he said "if it sounds that bad either quit saying it or say it out loud so it doesn't sound like what I THOUGHT you said." ROFL

Re: Curse words

I knew a two year old girl that when she said "fish", she changed the "sh" to "ch" and you can guess what she changed the "f" to.
