Some do, but it would be a minority opinion.
I know of folks who think that if a person fails God, the way to restoration is rebaptism in water and rebaptism in the Spirit.

He plays into whatever crowd gives him attention, tells him he's beautiful, and provides free coffee and donuts.
But, whatevah. It's not like I haven't reconsidered some things.

I really haven't gone after BP since he found his new religion, but I will say he has reverted back to his old style of posting. He used to be a judgemental conservative. Now he is a judgemental liberal.

*sigh*
What will he be next year?
A judgmental moderate?

Unfortunately, Bill reminds me of that guy who's just so thrilled about his girlfriend, and thinks she's the most wonderful girl in the world... cant stop talking about her, etc.
... until one day...this new girl comes along...
FAST FORWARD TO 6 MONTHS LATER...
Bill's just so thrilled about his new girlfriend, thinks she's the most wonderful girl in the world...cant stop talking about her, etc.
I'd be interested to see if Bill holds the same doctrinal position 2 years from now.

Berkely,
I didn't mean to come off as "super righteous" or "better" than you.
I've said plenty on forums that wasn't the best choice of words.
I personally don't agree with the re-baptism in water and Spirit of folks but these folks do it sincerely and do deserve our respect as brothers and sisters.
We've hashed and rehashed this "one-stepper" and "three-stepper" thing over and over on this forum and on others and at times the discussions have become quite heated. Things have been said that were hurtful, judgmental, and even condescending. Several of us have been guilty including me.
We need to remember that over the history of our Apostolic Pentecostal movement there have been men and women who were pretty diverse and preached lots of different things. We need to remember that some of those came together in 1945 and were able to work with differences of opinion. We need to do that too. We need to respect our brothers and sisters whether we agree with them or not. While we are this side of perfection, we only "know in part and prophesy in part" as we look into the mirror of God's Word.
