There are those who would put owning a television or wearing the color red, or keeping a sleeve length to the wrist as "non-negotiable's".

I just think they are close minded.

It saddens me to see someone with such a closed mind

BTW since I clearly define open mindedness NOT the same as you would, how would you know I can't see the danger of what you were speaking of? You are unwilling to objectively read what others say...thus you are a closed minded individual

  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Ecclesiastical Openness is a different word from Open MINDedness. Look there is Open house. Open Wounds. Openly Gay. Open to ANYTHING....just because they use the word OPEN does not mean they all mean the same thing.

There is closed door meetings where the people in the meeting can still have an OPEN MIND.

We are not considered closed MINDED to other individuals. We are considered CLOSED to other individuals. the MIND is about IDEAS and THEORIES and such. We USE our MINDS to examine things and test them. To tell the truth from untruthes.

The terms are being trashed in this discussion.

To show the person who is holding onto false doctrine their error.

2 Tim 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
