This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
The Witness of God in our life is the new birth which is BLOOD-WATER-SPIRIT THEY AGREE IN ONE NEW BIRTH. The human birth is blood-water-spirit. Man is made of blood-water-spirit. They AGREE in ONE. Out of His side(like out of Adam's side) came what became His wife. WATER & BLOOD OUT of his side creates His wife. Calvary -BLOOD-WATER-SPIRIT!

John continues to tell us that it is HIM ... THAT GIVES WITNESS ... not your soteriological doctrine Elder ,

1 John 5: 9 and 10

If we accept human testimony, the testimony of God is surely greater. Now the testimony of God is this, that he has testified on behalf of his Son. 10 Whoever believes in the Son of God has this testimony within himself. Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar by not believing the testimony God has given about his Son.

verse 11 of 1 John 5....
And this is the testimony: God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever possesses the Son has life; whoever does not possess the Son of God does not have life.

The testimony is not the Water and Spirit doctrine .... or Acts 2:38 ... but Jesus Christ ... and His Work to give us eternal life...

we accept this testimony by believing in him ... that's what the writer says ... not your theological spin.

Sorry He Jesus Christ told them Luke 24:47 repentance and remission of sins would be preached BEGINNING at Jerusalem IN HIS NAME and THEY the ones he handpicked-taught-opened their understanding-then filled preached Acts 2:38. You are NOT going to insult or demean God by doing what He said to do. Are we having fun yet. I am I confess. This is so easy.

The BLOOD-WATER-SPIRIT pictured every aspect then God reinforces the need by including the burial which was earth to Him but WATER to us. It is both. The picture keeps repeating as in EVERY shadow and type. BLOOD-WATER-OIL-FIRE.
