I had a neighbor that ran 5,000 dollars a case and was the best around for defending Driving under influence. Wonder if he won by reason of claiming theree were no laws against driving drunk?
I suspect if there were no tax laws or taxation was unlawful, some lawyer would have found that.
Remember the first cheat was Eve. She repeated what the serpent told her about the law of eating forbidden fruit. Then cain got in trouble and he couldn't claim there was no law against killing. Moses rolled it out.
I'm confused. Are you claiming that the 16th Amendment doesn't really exist? Or that it wasn't ratified? Or that it doesn't apply?
Even if there were some small loophole, I wouldn't allow our household to avoid taxes on a possibility that the government might be wrong. We have children to feed, clothe and shelter.
I don't appreciate the high taxes anymore than anyone else, but I hope these people aren't leading others down a path of self-destruction by advising them to not pay taxes, and helping them land themselves in jail.
I just don't see how this can be read any other way than the government has the right to demand taxes on income.
"The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several states, and without regard to any census or enumeration. "

Miss B, FTR I & D4T both pay and file taxes in our respective countries.
The question pointed out in the video was the proper ratification of the 16th ammendment.
