It is intersting that you caller prayer the "fat of rams".

Before Christ obeyed his mission on the Cross, what did he do in the Garden?

Did he obey or did he pray?

What view of the Apostles do we have for sleeping as the Lord went to pray?

Many who obey these blind none salvational standards are like those who sleep?

They all slept.

As Christ your Lord prayed.

You will find the devil showing up in your walk with God more often when you pray than when you obey....the words of men.

I read Bro. Bernard's books when I was 14 or 15. But thanks for the recommendation.

I Corinthians 11:5 "But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoreth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven."

I Corinthians 11:6 "For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered."

The only person who definitely receives the label of "shame" is the man (according to this passage)--if he has long hair.

I Corinthians 11:14 "Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?"

Nope not rude. I have a sister who is in the UPCI as a ministers wife. I have family members, my wife did if for years.

My mom does not cut her hair and has not for 50 years.

I know uncut when I see it.

I give a 20% rule in the UPCI the other 80% do the don't ask don't tell policy.

My family and circle of friends do not have an issue discussing it.

They simply do it but do not believe that ladies who cut their hair are no more saved or lost than they are...

I find the folks who actually believe they are only saved because they do not cut their hair find it rude.....

I simply just ask the questions.

And never get the answers....

I was being facetious--in response to his post. And not really. I leave my browser open to the forum most of the time, so just because I'm online doesn't mean I'm "online."

I'd personally agree with these figures, based on my observation. Regionally, it may vary, but overall? I think your stats are pretty accurate.

I don't know anyone who thinks they are saved just "because they do not cut their hair." But I do know quite a few who think you are lost if you do cut it.

What was the question again?

My prayer life is fine. I try and learn anything I can on this forum.

For the most part I have not learned a thing about scripture.

I have learned the nature of many in Apostolic churches.

That before folks would not share until they got behind a screen name and keyboard.

I am honest enough to let folks know who I am...

I should try a screen name like .... Holier4u.

And see how folks respond to my alter UltraCon personality of the 1980's and 1990's.
