She is greying now that she is pushing 50 and I know she is taking it hard... however, I wish she would leave everyone else alone.

I get sick of people pointing out a liberty that someone might take (such as coloring hair) and gripe about it when they really would like the liberty to do the same.

As for my own hair... now that I am 40, I broke down and did a box thingy at Walmart... I am greying slightly at the temples... I went a shade lighter than my natural color... no one even noticed.... *sigh* I even asked people if they saw anything different... no one noticed.. everyone said it looked like my natural color.. So, so much for hair color not looking natural!!!
I'm done with this thread, so will anyone who is capable, please delete the 2 attatchments on post # 80. Thank You.

It's been proven that some will die....dying. oloroid

Hot Coffee Woman wanted the pictures of her family deleted.

It's my guess she is a bit frustrated that many aren't dying to agree with her about the dye.

I thought in her initial post she gave good advice about women not dying their hair too dark.

One of my pet peeves is both women and men who dye their hair that fake looking jet black. It just screams "I am dyed!!!!"

My grandmother was an extremely conservative Pentecostal woman. She died in her late 90's around 1990. She was so conservative you did not even say the word "pregnant" around her. A woman was "with child".

Anyway she had genetics that caused her hair to stay black until she was in her 80's when she finally began to get some gray.

The little UPC church in her town she attended got a new preacher when she was in her late 70's or so and he just knew she was dying her hair so in a church made up 98% of little old grey haired ladies he started preaching hard just about every service about women dying their hair. Finally she could take it no more and started attending the next nearest UPC church in an even smaller town about 10 miles away.

" Oh Shucks" what was the saying about a woman's right to change her mind.
I ask to have my Nieces pictures deleted is all.
And my beef, is ladies using black and very dark dye on their hair, because it is not becoming when they do. It's really embarrasing to see it. But some of these posters thought I needed to mind my own business. That's why I said I was done.

Hot Coffee Ms.,
I don't think Foreverblessed was addressing your posts. She was talking about a lady at camp that was very annoying at pointing out everyone she thought had dyed their hair. That would have also annoyed me.

You are only as old as you feel, today I think there are some 95 year olds who felt better than I do!
