I have two CD's with a total of 40 some Gospel songs by Elvis.
Every so often I'll play one and sing along and just worship the Lord and rejoice.
He had a way with those Gospel songs.
There was an anointing on him.

I love his gospel songs too. I have a couple of his albums, the old 33.3 RPM LP albums of him singing gospel. I loved the way he sung Amazing Grace. Of course you and I grew up with Elvis in the 1950s and remember how unfair it was for him to be drafted, depriving all of us of his great singing. In those days, Elvis was our hero.

Elvis used to come to gospel singings in Tulsa.
He would sit backstage, listen and cry.
My mother, who used to sing at these, related this to me.
