Re: Backstabbing in McCain camp...
So here is the quote...
One night, Steve Schmidt and Mark Salter went to her hotel room to brief her. After a minute, Palin sailed into the room wearing nothing but a towel, with another on her wet hair. She told them to chat with her laconic husband, Todd. "I'll be just a minute," she said.
Seriously, am I the only one who sees no problem with this? Obviously, "nothing but a towel" is a figure of speech - unless she revealed a naked body beneath... of course not. There is nothing to suggest she was nude beneath the towel. She likely added that to whatever else she had on underneath. Nice hotels have huge towels and she is petite so was likely better covered than any of the females on "The View".

Re: Backstabbing in McCain camp...
McCain and Palin not seeing eye to eye and yet running a great campaign while being out spent 4 to 1 speaks well of them. They are both strong willed leaders, not just sheeple who who speak of "getting there" or "hope" without defining either one.

True! I just wonder why the McCain go the nod. He was not the guy to beat Obama. Palin got the base energized.

Keep in mind that this is what REPUBLICAN'S are saying about her. Not Dems!
I dunno, that sounds like a diva to me.

I'm just wondering if "diva" is on your word of the day list?

Re: Backstabbing in McCain camp...
"Critics" within the McCain campaign revealed that she did not know Africa was a continent and Mexico, US and Canada comprised NAFTA.
OK. I still doubt it's the straight scoop.

Re: Backstabbing in McCain camp...
I saw that one too. There were about three or four other reports by the same guy in which he was much more detailed about what the McCain people were saying about her and in one report they named the names of the people that were in the hotel room (same as the Newsweek article) and they named the guy who was fired and then rehired by the campaign in an effort to keep the dissent quiet.
The McCain people are the ones that put the 'diva' label on her. And they are right. Imo.

Re: Backstabbing in McCain camp...
The staff may just be looking for someone to blame. Palin was thrown into the the campaign on short notice, and I have no doubt that she was not well prepared. But that doesn't mean she will not catch on, there is nothing like being thrown in to the lake to cause one to paddle like crazy.
If she was too bad, it shows lack of staff doing their job, for their leader. Someone should have prevented her from being interviewed, unless there was no question that she was prepared. I agree that she did not handle those first two interviews well, she did much better later on.

This is most likely because neither of those two were in tact. They were all cut and edited. When you watched an uncut interview (like Hannity) she did fine.

Dear Colleagues (Okay, you're waaay more important than me)...,
I wanted to congratulate you on your contributions to the recent presidential election. Without your help, this might have been a closer race.
