Huge blow.
It's funny how previous to the Trump endorsement Sessions was PO's hero, but now he's "establishment" and "political."

Jeff Sessions came to Ted Cruz's defense on his stand against Amnesty. Of course Cruz would highlight that fact while Trump, Rubio and others lied about it. Citing Sessions correcting that record is a fact, and Ted Cruz should use it as often as he needs to. Sessions and Mike Lee BOTH came out and said that Marco Rubio was not telling the truth on this issue.
Ted and Jeff Sessions also introduced the American Jobs First Act of 2015, which addresses the HB-1 abuses.
“The American Jobs First Act of 2015 is a necessary effort to repair the H-1B visa program to prevent it from displacing American workers,” Sen. Cruz said. “This legislation aligns the program with its original intent, does more to prevent employers from using the program to replace hard-working American men and women with cheaper foreign labor, and helps to create greater transparency of job needs and opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields, so that unemployed Americans with the necessary skills can apply for these jobs. It is my hope that the American Jobs First Act of 2015 becomes part of a broader congressional effort to make immigration work for the American people again.”
Trump came off this last debate looking badly. IF you look at Sessions record I posted, he is not as conservative as people believe he is. For Sessions to deflect from that poor performance by trotting out his endorsement is a slight of hand.
You can follow all the media hype against Cruz all day long. It seems to feed that anger you carry around and gnaw on like and old bone. Knock yourself out, Charnock.

Illinois judge dismisses suit to take Cruz off ballot
An Illinois judge on Tuesday threw out a lawsuit that would have kept Ted Cruz off the state's GOP presidential primary ballot, according to Reuters.
The lawsuit was filed by attorney Lawrence Joyce, who challenged Cruz's eligibility to be president because he was born in Canada to an American mother.

I'm supposedly angry yet you, with 45,044 posts, aren't?
Most of those posts are political.
Many are"angry" posts, in which you rage against government.

Just read a "breaking" news report that Carson is skipping the next debate and "doesn't see a path forward" for his campaign.
If course, the moment the Cruz campaign says anything, Carson will come back saying he just needed a change of clothes.
Don't fall for it, Cruz!!!

So wouldnt it be better for Cruz..if Kasich wins Ohio, and Rubio can win Florida? Consisering Cruz should do well in Louisiana, Kentucky, Kansas, and is leading in California, wouldnt that all but guarantee a brokered convention?
I don't think Cruz can win the delegates needed, but maybe Cruz can keep Donald from doing so.

PO what are the chances Cruz approaches Rubio to be his VP in exchange for him getting out of the race and campaigning for Cruz in Florida? Would be a great general election running mate too.

I don't know what Rubio is going to do. Last night he made the comment that Cruz won't be able to win up north and he will. So, there is that. He's coming across as a political opportunist more than wanting to help the cause of Conservatism - which he promised to do. That's apparent as he could distance himself from the manipulation of the GOPe if he sided with Cruz. He could possibly shake off his Gang of 8 stench, but it appears that is who he really is - an Establishment puppet. Unlike Cruz, Rubio doesn't have the courage to stand alone against all odds.
I agree with your comment on Marco's thread regarding Ted making a national name for himself.
Cruz won big last night on Super Saturday. He gained more delegates than Trump. What is interesting about Louisiana, aside from the early voting that went to Trump, yesterday's voting with Cruz gaining on Trump showed that votes are coalescing around Cruz. I hope that is a momentum that continues.
I've been out of town and just caught up with the debate last night. Trump had the worst debate ever, Rubio continuing to come across as a senator, Kaisch was present and Cruz, again, coming across as presidential in tone and in substantive answers.
I'd like to see him pull the hairy orange down. It would be an epic defeat for the grassroots. Amazing how far Ted has come with all the media against him along with the Establishment in both parties. Loving it! Go, Ted!

Re: Sen. Ted Cruz Makes It Official
I don't see Cruz asking Rubio to be his vp.
He's is now going to be pushing hard to beat Rubio out of Florida.
Hopefully, Rubio drops out and backs Cruz before embarrassingly losing his own state to both Cruz and Trump.

We may be surprised to find that Rubio purposefully fell on his sword to allow Cruz to move forward. It looked like Rubio lobbed attacks on Trump, allowing Cruz to finish him off. Rubio had to know the childish attacks weren't going to work in his favor. Trump is reality tv, so he can get away with it, but no one else fits that bill. I can only imagine he did that so that Cruz could pick up the momentum. When I saw them shake hands behind Trump's back in the debate before last, I have not discounted that Rubio and Cruz have a plan. That plan could be to unite before Florida. He may do it after so as not to disappoint his voters in Florida. We shall see.
At least Kaisch is being honest that he wants to go for an open convention. Dumb idea for both Kaisch and Rubio, if that's the plan. They don't have the delegates to make that plan anywhere near plausible. If you are not winning states - get out of the race.
BTW, I noticed that Trump dropped 10% on the prediction markets after yesterday's primaries as the inevitable winner of the Republican party. That's a huge drop in one night. Hope to see that continue dropping.
