Re: What's for Dinner Tonight?

I wanted real food - so I made spaghetti......hard to make just a little of it though!

Today, I also made chocolate chip cookies and soft sugar cookies, but I didn't bake them. Just rolled the dough up in a log, wrapped it good and freezing it to take to FL and bake them down there. Homemade without all the fuss!

Re: What's for Dinner Tonight?

BW just put a roast in the oven. Glad I married a good cook, although I'm one of those people who eat to survive otherwise to me eating is a chore, a real waste of time.

Re: What's for Dinner Tonight?

Last night I had a whole wheat English muffin with fat free bologna and fat free cheese with a sweet pickle sliced on it. I know......it sounds terrible, but it wasn't so bad. I'm making up for the rich food I have eaten the past few days in Florida!

Re: What's for Dinner Tonight?

homemade mac 'n cheese at our house. Keith has band practice (AGAIN!) at 6:00. This is an all-fall thing with our marching band. So I have to find decent but quick suppers for those nights. I'll be glad when November gets here.

Margie, it is not possible for a gumbo recipe to have beans in it.

If you see a recipe that has beans in it and claims to be a gumbo recipe, you need to understand that what every that recipe is, it AINT gumbo....

and the recipe is here in the Food area. I wll see if I can find it and bump it.
