One thing that is a no-no don't ever eat greens from a can,talk about nasty.

I would agree, except for Glory Mixed Greens. Eddie loves them and says they taste just like homemade seasoned turnip greens. I don't eat turnip greens, so I wouldn't know.

Sorry, I had to log off for a while. Basically tomato gravy at it's easiest is your favorite homemade gravy recipe w/ a can of diced tomatoes added to it.

I have even used (gasp) a jar gravy before also.

Well, we just call it Spam & Beans. I'll try to post it for you tomorrow. My kids grew up on this stuff, and it's ultra cheap. We ate it at least once a week when we were first married.

Glory turnip greens are about the only canned vegi that we will eat... they are pretty good to be so fast.
