Steadfast, for what it's worth, I agree with most of what you have said in this thread. It is truly a sad day when the PAW even CONSIDERS allowing trinitarianism in its pulpits.
They lost some good churches in Los Angeles over this. Elder Swansey who pastored Peace Apostolic church left last year. he pastor's a church of about 700
Last Year they had their Natl. convention in L.A He told the PAW if you have bishop Blake preach at the convention I am leaving and he did!
Elder Swansey preaches Acts 238 harder then any UPCer i have heard. now the standards might be a little tough on our UPC brethren but he is doctrine thru and thru!!!!
Steadfast, I was in L.A at the convention and to my surprise, almost 1/2 the audience either walked out or didn't show up at all the night Blake was scheduled. I was told last week by a PAW pastor that the PAW is split about 50/50 over this whole issue.
the last time i was there, it looked like about 50% still looked pentecost too. one thing i will say about the PAW though, they will allow variances in standards and they don't let that hinder each other from fellowship. doctrine is one thing that they will have a war over. the reason i know this is, i have been to MANY of their events in CA. and they always have a mixed group. some who abide and some who dont. they strongly teach the soverignty of the local pastor and church - i believe that is one of the reasons.
ALSO, Braizer has been pushing for "eternal security" doctrine FOR YEARS and has never suceeded. however, he has swayed some of their pastors over to that doctrine.
I am totally for abandoning extrabiblical bunk, but I would never, ever accept trinitarianism.
Why do you defend trinitarianism so much?

I think it kind of funny because if, and I say "if", you ever had a trinitarian speak at your church for whatever reason, they would be a fool to say anything that would go against what you teach and believe! They would know what you teach, and wouldn't say anything that would bring disrespect.
If you don't trust the speaker, he shouldn't be in your pulpit anyway!!!!!!!

You obviously keep confusing the TV issue as being the 'deciding factor'. It's simply not. There are many things that have people wondering what direction the Apostolic movement is heading. The list would be too long but TV would only be a fraction of the issue.
It would appear that TV is more important to others than it is to some caught in the middle of it all.
