I would have asked the waitress for a chicken leg and some corn bread.

The pastor wasnt present, he had business to take care of. Another couple took him out to eat.

Well, they may not have felt like they had the authority to do anything about it, seeing as how they were treating the "man of God". Seriously, this makes me sick at my stomach. When someone takes us out, I think we try to go overboard to eat something like a sandwich or at the most a reasonably priced meal, because you just don't want to abuse your influence and power.

Listen a UC Pastor treated me good before ,probably some of the best treatment I have gotten.
UC preachers have definitely given us the best treatment...My husband has preached and then the pastor kept the offering or my husband would give back the offering. That was tough sometimes after we had driven a long way and had little money - but I didn't complain about it...Now that I'm older, I might complain (to my husband, not to anyone in the church). ...LOL.. Is this over the top in your opinion ????
Does this Pastor fast?

Isa 58:5 Is it such a fast that I have chosen? A day for a man to afflict his soul? Is it to bow down his head like a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? Will you call this a fast and a day pleasing to Jehovah?
Isa 58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? To loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed ones go free, and that you break every yoke?
Isa 58:7 Is it not to break your bread to the hungry, and that you should bring home the wandering poor? When will you see the naked and cover him; and you will not hide yourself from your own flesh?
