I do not believe the posts, or the responses were TIC. They were meant to be cutting and cruel. These were not your normal garden variety forum insults. It was much worse than anything I've seen in my eight months of forum existence.
If libs had said something like this, the board would explode with angry calls for a retraction and an unqualified apology from all involved.

I have seriously erred in being open here. There are some beloved posters involved. I'll back off for a bit, but I don't think any of my comments even touch what BOOM was posting about on this thread.
