I'm a man and I highly respect Sarah P. and what she stands for. She's pretty, she'd smart and she tells it like it is. Alaska is the looser because she resigned. I wonder if she would like to come run for Governor here inCa. When conservatives finally find a good person to run for office they won't stick together. One preacher said he wouldn't vote for Ron Paul because he is Southern Baptist. How narrow can you get. I think he may have gotten confused and thought we were voting for GS of the UPCI.
At least smart was first runner-up...that can't be sexist LOL

Hey, if the dems have survived Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Dick Durbin, and President BHO, the repubs will survive Sarah Palin.

You just bet your bottom dollar we will.
That's quite a scary list you gave. WOW!!!! We may even be able to survive the devil after those characters.
You can "stand" anywhere you want on an issue. If you can't articulate it, I'm not convinced you really understand it, which means those empty sayings will turn into tragedy when put to the fires of national office.
We don't know enough about her "standing" on issues, other than she's really awkward outside of her 3x5 cards. In other words, her seemingly unrelated poor interviews could actually be related to her denseness on the issues. Isn't that important to you?
What has she said about the issues that makes her such a winner? There are literally millions of people that "stand" for conservative values. What makes her a winner to you?
I could be wrong, but my perception is that her "handlers" are telling her what to say and not letting her be herself.

People did talk about her interviews but even with that much of the issue that people had with her interviews was not with linguistics but content. At times she appeared to not have a grasp of the issues. People also expressed concern about her overall readiness and other issues as well. This thread was specifically about her interview so the impression she leaves in interviews obviously dominate it.
I just don't get the impression that the main reason people were not comfortable with her was her gender. I was just trying to see if you felt that way. I was just curious
The reason I mentioned it was I heard a 24 year old call in on a talk show and said he was a Christian and he doesn't want ANY woman to be the President. He has issues with women in leadership position.
As to me, NO I don't have a problem with her being president because of her gender. I have seen a number of women and men that I would not want to be under as they were NOT good leaders.
I think there is more to SP than folks have seen yet. Time will tell.

"One part of athletics I really appreciated was our local chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, which I co-captained........At least sixty of us met in public school classrooms for Bible study and inspirational exchanges that motivated us to focus on hard work and excellence. In those days, ACLU activists had not yet convinced young people that they were supposed to feel offended by other people's free exercise of religion."
"I didn't necessarily get into government to become an ethics crusader. But it seemed that every level of government I encountered was paralyzed by the same politics-as-usual system. I wasn't wired to play the game. And because I fought political corruption regardless of party, GOP leaders distanced themselves from me and eventually my administration, which really was fine with me. Though I was a registered Republican, I'd always been without a political home, and now, even as governor, I was still outside the favored GOP circle. I considered that a mutually beneficial relationship: politically, I didn't owe anyone, and nobody owed me. That gave me the freedom and latitude to find the best people to serve Alaskans regardless of party, and I was beholden only to those who hired me - the people of Alaska."
