Here are some YES or NO questions....

God made strong social provisions for the most destitute in the very Government ordained by his Holy Law. In fact the Psalms indicate that the agent of justice for the poor was....the King of Israel. Look it up.

To deprive the poor their right to glean, to with hold from the nation storehouse, to not hear the cry of the widow, was to rob the poor in God's eyes. Whatsoever you have done unto the least of these...you've done unto him. They robbed God by neglecting the storehouse...because through their neglect of social justice they robbed the poor. Thou shalt not steal.

Sadly, most would rather see a widow go hungry because they don't trust God to provide without tax cuts.

Actually in ancient Israel there were three tithes and the Israelites paid significantly more than 10% for their national provisions on top of a head tax and periodic burdens instituted by the King for national projects.

You do err knowing not the Scriptures. It was God's desire to give Israel a King. In the Law of Moses, long before the institution of a King we read....

Deuteronomy 17:14-15
14When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me;
15Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother.

It was God's will and intention that Israel have a king...the issue was that Israel wanted a king that God didn't choose for them. Had they waited, God would have lifted David up to rule them righteously in His time. Israel's problem was that they acted prematurely.

I tell our people to pray and vote their conscience and then go on serving Jesus. Because in the end we are citizens of His Kingdom.

Spiritual darkness is coming not because the "church is the lapdog" of any party. Its coming because His Word said it would before Jesus returns. Its coming because the forces of darkness want to destroy the Church and Israel. But I digress, you already have all this endtime stuff figured out, don't you?

I pray for your pastor, if you have one.

Go figure you'd say such. lol You'd vote for the Devil himself if he was a card carrying Republican.
