Re: McCain's Speech Tonight!

I thought John McCain's speech was the best of his career. I hope he can stay on task when the opposition to what is best for America comes against him.

Yes it was! Full of heart!!! Loved it, but the end was the best. What an awesome climax to the night and for his acceptance speech!

You get involved

I admire him! I want him to sit behind that desk in the oval office. If anyone deserves the privilege it is John McCain.
I loved the that part-

If you dont like your country get involved to change it!--

I thought so too- I thought it was on a rather lighter tone, than that of a somber message.

Some of the commentators I was listening to, said the last time he spoke at the RNC in 04 he was very serious--I think he was far from that tonight.

Re: McCain's Speech Tonight!

McCain was mostly good and average in delivery - just as he has always been. The energy from last nights Palin speech was lingering and evident when she was mentioned.

Well, yes - he had it moved to Mile High Stadium just for that - - how self-serving can you get?

I didn't see any empty seats in the Xcel Center.

I wasn't impressed at all with Obama's - - isn't that what makes America so great!
