The funeral is at 11:00 - just a few minutes from now.
All that can, take a few moments to say a prayer for the family and friends!

Been praying. Tried with the airline to get a flight out yesterday, but no go. The earliest they could get me there was Friday. My mind, thoughts, and prayers are with them today.

Thought some might want to read the obituary:
Yohe, Lovella M.
Lovella M. Stogsdill Yohe 74, Indianapolis, IN, went to be with her Lord Sunday, April 1, 2007 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. Lovella loved her church and the work of her Lord. She and her husband were co-founders of the Lighthouse Ranch for Boys in Loranger, LA in 1970. They took in, cared for and raised up over 6500 boys since it began. One of whom is now the director of the Ranch and loved as their own. She was also very proud of the 32 countries she visited with missions over her lifetime. Part of her work included founding The Great Plains District of the United Pentecostal Church. Lovella also loved to praise God with her voice and at one time, turned down a recording offer with RCA. In her travels she liked to collect dolls and share them with her family and friends. She was a true worker for Christ and for her family. She will be dearly missed by the many, many lives she touched and changed. Visitation will be at 1st Pentecostal Church, Denham Springs on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, April 5, 2007 from 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. officiated by Rev. T.F. Tenney and Rev. Ray Johnson. Burial will follow at Loranger Cemetery, in Loranger, LA at 2 p.m. She is survived by her three daughters, Sherri Yohe Boggs, Terri Yohe Huffman, and husband, Steve, Vicki Yohe Hodges, and husband, Troy; grandchildren, Gina, Josh, Lovella, Houston, Ryan, Lindsay, Courtney, Kaley, and Walker; great-grandchildren, Alexander, Gracie, Jacelyn, Cade, Jameson, Lathon, and Emma; sisters, Alberta Walters, Rosie Relford, Gracie Babbitt, and Faye Mustad; and brother, Bobby Stogsdill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie H. Yohe, Sr.; son, Jim Yohe, Jr.; parents, John and LIzzie Vick Gastineau Stogsdill; brothers, Clinton, Lester, and Billy Stogsdill. The pallbearers are Ryan Chelette, Houston Boggs, Jim Hill, Lynn Johnson, and Josh Yohe. The honorary pallbearers are Steve Huffman and Troy Hodges. Services performed under the direction of Seale Funeral Service, Inc., Denham Springs, LA.

I went to the funeral today. It was a lovely service that honored a great lady of sacrifice and courage. There were several speakers, Br. and Sis. Munsey, J. Yohe spoke for the grandchildren and Jim Yohe, the directors of the Boys Ranch spoke about the impact the Yohes had on them personally and the boys at the ranch, the LaRues spoke as friends, Br. Cupit spoke as a friend, Jonathan Cupit sang, S. Huffman spoke on behalf of the girls, then Vicki sang, as she sang she ministered to her family and the congregation. She sang " In the Presence of Jehovah". Then Br. Tenney spoke - he did a great job. Terri and Vicki sang a duet together as a tribute to their mom. Even in their grief they ministered to others there. It was a lovely tribute and home going.

Thanks for letting us know. I tried over the past two days to get there...and things could not just get worked out. How Terri and Vicki could sing is beyong me...I would be a basketcase. However, it sounded like a wonderful tribute and a wonderful ministry to each other.
