Rev. Please do not think I have something against you. I don't even know who I am writing to...I just think that God's word applies in all situations.
You too can be my friend! However if you get me to speak evil of someone it will be because I KNOW something is very wrong and cultish...and even then I will hold my peace if it is for the best...
Sherri and I are two different people and she told you herself we are different but we are friends. I have lots of friends.
You talk as if you know me and have a dislike for me or my family. I do not dislike you whoever you are.

YOU surely do not know me...My husband is laughing right now telling me to tell you I have been guilty helping people build churches that left our work..and in 40 years you have a lot of coming and going...If I cannot be nice to someone whoever it is then how abideth the love of God in me?
Lots of times my husband has called me and asked where are you Janice and I would laugh...I was helping someone that left our work get their work started! Just because someone leaves our work does NOT mean they leave God...

I don't know anyone on this thread that has left Acts 2:38 behind. If you think that, then you don't know any of us very well.

Have you told that Methodist lady that she needs to obey ( Acts 2:38)? That she needs to be baptized in Jesus Name?

Friends: May the Lord help us on every subject to respond to the ignorance of others with gentleness.
My telephone just rang and it was from a Catholic lady and her husband that are friends of ours in Brazil. She was wanting to know how my husband is doing. It was so sweet she told me at her office (they own an insurance company in Brazil) that they have been holding hands every day saying their prayers for brother Alvear to recover...
They really know nothing about the true way but Brother Alvear's kindness to them has made them decide we are real Christians and we have something their church does not have...Never one time have we mentioned their Hail Mary's and their prayer beads...we have LIVED Jesus and among the thousands of people they deal with they have chosen us to be their friends.
She also told me that when we get back to Brazil she and her husband want to come visit our church.
I could take a sermon on prayer beads and idol worship and kill them...I choose to let them slowly understand of a God who needs no prayer beads…
