But again, I am not looking to be cynical. I am a very pragmatic individual and it would be easy to be critical of this Resolution. I honestly see it as a move in the right direction as far as keeping broad fellowship.

On the contrary. In my way of thinking, I would be just as happy to have brother X come preach for me, or teach a bible lesson at my church if he did not exit the fellowship as a backslider or someone who became a heretic. In fact, even if they did, I can see how it is that one can be restored in ministry, even if he never does come back into the organization. I believe in restoration without the organization as well as within. There seems to be too little ambition for this kind of policy.

The policy seems to be one of policing and disqualification.

I'm not sure that God sets up every kind of government. There is righteous government and there is unrighteous government. I'm all for making it as righteous as God can use men to make it. There are provisions in the manual by which unrigheous men can use that provision, by whim, to the detriment of others.

There are provisions in any government (Except Gods) that allows unrighteous loopholes.
You know me. I am anti-Political. But there are some boundary's that should be set.
