Every person I have personally dealt with who refused to submit to "firstfruits" giving also had huge control issues.

You realize it can just as easily be said that pastors who insist that church members pay tithes have huge contol issues.

Likewise, it could just as easily be said that a Shetland Pony might win the Kentucky Derby, but I think we all kniw that isn't likely.
The fact is, however, that tithing is a biblical principle, not a hallmark of control issues.

Speculative , and Jesus was speaking to priest that were hypocrites of carnal law and going to be obsolete after Calvary.
The sabbath law passed away to after the Jesus became priest as well the circumcision.
But I am sure that when it comes to money..........Preachers want to keep it.

The fact is, however, that tithing is biblical and man has made it a principle, an ear mark of many issues.
Funny thing.... bring up money and the preacher talks of Horse Races.

Never been to a horse race, and never wagered a penny on a sporting event of any kind.

Preach the truth.....tithing is not a command.
Tithing affects the reciever when he wants it and the giver wont give.
