I have been told that JS did believe in oneness, but did not feel that he could give up his ministry that he had and it would cause him trouble and he would lose his ministry if he confessed to seeing the oneness message. However, shortly thereafter the problem he had with that little lady in New Orleans was soon exposed and he lost all of it for quite awhile after all. There actually were oneness UPC brethren who were having discussions with him regarding the oneness message and Jesus Name baptism before his trouble was exposed. Maybe one day they will wise up to not call "the oneness" wrong and false doctrine.

Right. And Rod Parsley is looking toward the UPC. And every other big name trinitarian pentecostal preacher has considered oneness but won't make the jump because they'll lose their ministry.
