So why did they not team up years ago with the ALJC, who still hold doctrine, and allow tv? I am confused. We sometimes act like the UPCI is the only choice out there. If I cannot live with the UPC, there are some other options, whether it is more conservative, or more liberal.
MH has no one but MH to blame for his choices. He destroyed himself when he separated himself from his fellowship, and did not reconnect with another fellowship.

I'll be looking for and listening for God during the conference. I'll recognize when He shows up.

Matt I was at the Fort Worth meeting the year they pulled out. The ALJC was there in force from the chairman to nearly every official the group had. It was humorous they were running over each other trying to catch them. But MK & KP were NOT impressed too small for them. It was evident to anyone who could see. They thought a following was coming and it never materialized. Those few who did haven't faired so well.

Both tremendous preachers...sad that MH strayed so far...while I may not agree with KP he seems to have followed his vision.
At one time MH was greatly used in the gifts of he spirit. I weep and right now tears are streaming down my cheeks...
The Hanby family were very precious people of God along with the Williams family. Mark´s sister was married to John David Williams...

I know of a church that purchased a pre-made advertisement from www.faithhighway.com for the rights to two 30 second spots for three years for about $2500. The message of the ads was generally focused: one about family and church attendance, the other about children and Christian education. At the end of the spot the name of the church comes up with address, phone and internet info. The ad time only cost them $400 a month for 70 30 second ad slots on cable channels like ESPN, TNT, TBS, WGS, CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, Discovery, Disney, etc.
Cable tv advertising is very affordable.

When I pastored faithhighway approached me with a very simliar package. However, I could not afford the package at the time. They were going to put me on a payment plan that I could afford. They were willing to let me pay as little as $20.00 a month.
In fact, the consider themselves to be a ministry. Many of the larger churches that purchase packages from them donate extra money to cover the cost for smaller churches that cannot afford them.

Don't be surprised if he comes in with a goatee and sandals...
