Brother NLYP, I was under the impression that you were pretty conservative yourself, but you've made some recent comments, and a few digs at Bro. Whole Hearted that has surprised me somewhat.

I am aware that as Christians we are to love our fellowman, but we are not required to pat those who are in error on the back when we know they are not preaching the whole truth as the Bible instructs. It's our obligation to show them the error of their ways, and that is what he has been led by the Holy Ghost to do.

Now the Show will begin.

Anybody like to join me in the laugh!!!!

THAT made my day....LOLOLOLOL

I agree with you completely.

Meanwhile back at the ranch.....

I don't care.

Under the watchful eye of Bishop Jakes, I have been given the gift of "good-bye".

I am tired of begging and babying. I told the church as much Wednesday night, and I intend on saying the same thing Sunday morning.

I am not "weary in well-doing", just tired of baby-sitting. Here and at chuirch.

Here and at church.

Much rather deal with a dedicated few, than an ambivalent crowd.

I remember a time when a pastor I had got up and let the congregation know he was changing the focus of his preaching and ministry. He said pretty much the same thing you have, that he was tired of baby sitting people. He said his new focus would be on helping people that were serious about moving on and moving up in the Lord and he meant it. Some folks ended up getting left behind.

I have learned that there will always be babies in the church. Some people NEVER want to grow up. Their growth was stunted for various reasons or they refuse to eat of the Word of God.

I've sat under a couple of different pastors who said something like this - one Apostolic, one not. In both cases, what ended up happening was that revival broke out and the church ended up growing with new souls being born into the Kingdom of God. Yes, we lost a few each time, but God gave back so much more than we had lost.

Did the church that was left survive?

With a bunch of paddles available, why would anyone want to just be dead weight?

Rico, you and I agree on some things and disagree on others. I am tired of having to referee adults as if they were children.

Oh maturity, please manifest thyself!

I know the feeling, ChTatum......I think many pastors spend 95% of their time with the same 5% of the people. That adds up to 100%.
