I can't elaborate on exactly what I do, due to the nature of the work. However, I'm what they call a, trusted agent. To get a handle on the kind of work I do, consider the character named, "Penelope Garcia", on a popular television show called, "Criminal Minds". Only, I'm a dude. And her job is far, far more exciting than mine, seeing that she works for the FBI. lol

Oh a government employee. That explains A LOT. You work for US, but you're entitled to more than us.
Even my dad, a diehard Union Democrat objects to government unions. He says they've ruined anything remotely good about the unions.

Freedom to keep more of the money you earn. Freedom to pay people what they're worth. Freedom from government overreach, regulations, and dictates. Freedom like we enjoyed for the first 175 years of our history.

Unions were great 100 years ago. Even 60 years ago. But they ruined American industry and manufacturing in the 1960s-80s. That's the reason why there are fewer unions and union membership than ever before. They have to force people to join them against their will with mandatory Union memberships. Their days are numbered if they don't ruin America's economy first.

Has nothing to do with men and corporations like Trump not paying their dues does it....public budgets would be in far better shape, unions or no unions.

We've been in decline since the end of WWII and the overreach of the federal government. FDR didn't save us from the Great Depression, he prolonged it. WWII saved us from the malaise. Obama hasn't saved us from the Great Rescession, he's only made its effects last longer. We are at almost zero growth and have been for years. China grows at a robust 6-7% annually while we languish. Why? Because Dems dont know how to grow an economy. Reagan oversaw the greatest expansion in history creating 25 million jobs. Clinton's butt got saved because Gingrich and the Republican Revolution happened two years into his presidency and the Information Age exploded. The government didn't create the computer or the Internet or Microsoft or online businesses. In fact we had to fight the Dems all through the 90s and 00s to keep them from taxing online Buisness and stifling growth.
The crash of 2008 was the result of the Clinton admin idea of giving people unworthy of credit easy access to home loans that caused the housing bubble. Bush and the GOP failed to address it admittedly, but then again the Bushies are moderates, and grew the size of govt and national debt.
|
They also deregulated the industry, to get government out of markets, you know....to get back to the way it was 175 years ago. But markets and the world are in 2016. The world that was isn't here anymore.

Let's say you pay $400 a month for health insurance. But I'm Canadian, the government insurance increased my taxes $220 a month for the same coverage (negotiated). And I pay $40 monthly in premium for elective coverage. So now who brings home more of the money earned, you or me?

Me. I pay cash for medical services (they charge a lot cheaper than if they bill an insurance company or the goobermint). I also use all available, legal, methods to reduce my withholding and yearly taxes as much as possible.
And, to top it all off, I don't work for the government, so the money I earn comes from citizens buying a service or product, rather than from extorting money from them for no equitable or even wanted service (product doesn't apply, as .guv supplies no products except paperwork and headaches and cheap prison labour).

MORE EVANGELICALS VOTED IN THIS ELECTION THAN EVER BEFORE!
THATS how Christians can vote for Trump!
We voted for him, not because he's an angel, but because we opposed Hillary and liberal SCOTUS appointments, as well as all of the other awful positions the Dem Party embraces that runs contrary to a Biblical worldview.

Deacon, Trump received 2 million votes less than Romney and 1.1 million less than McCain. Please. Hillary was a terrible candidate and that is why Trump won.
