You haven't been to SRX in Tempe, AZ then. Our afternoon services are anything but dead!

Two good posts!

Husband and Wives working 60+ hours a week.. at church usually Sundays.. and Wednesday Nights... and any other prayer night or task night during the week...

I think Sunday Evening is a great time for Family in my opinion...

I like One Service on Sunday.. The Pastor is not worried about preaching TWO sermons... the people don't get wore out...

I've talked with some local pastors that would love to go to one service on Sunday but are forced by the More traditional saints to two... but are looking to go to one...
We have a Sunday afternoon service @ 2pm and it's been incredible. There may come a day when we go to two services, but I doubt it. With the afternoon service, you have time for the sunday school leaders to get out and visit their kids before picking them up for sunday school; since it's in the afternoon we're able to have guests who are able to visit after their denominal service; and it gives us time in the evenings to relax with both natural family and the church family.

2 Sunday services is only traditional . . . it's not in any way Biblical, though some would treat it as such.

He is the preacher of such classics as:

I am a Believer

Ambassadors

Gifts of the Spirit

You seem to have a critical spirit, don't you know that you shouldn't touch God's anointed.

to be honest with ya, sir............in this forum, there appears to be an opinion who is annointed of God and who isn't. some think only those who believe just like them are annointed. The others are just wannabees....

chaotic_resolve~ I liked having one service at 2:00 PM myself, less stress didn't feel rush around trying to get kids in tow, especially the little ones they have their lunch get a nap then off to church later. Plus you had the morning to get your stuff done or just relax
