What I'm referring to is, that seeing how detailed [and circular] some of these discussions can get, I decided a while back to tread carefully in these "1-step/3-step" threads, so as not to get dragged into some long, drawn-out debates, as in the past.

Well some of these "babies" bite, and throw stuff... and then that causes a part of you to want to just smack 'em.... and then... well, you've seen it... sometimes it gets a little ugly!

It goes like this:
I believe that you are saved at repentance and that baptism and the Holy Ghost are essential to salvation. You receive the Holy Ghost when you are "saved", but you you receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost accompanied by tongues. You can go to heaven without getting baptized in water and/or Spirit, but they are essential to salvation.
Got it??
