This logic would affect our fingernails as well as our skin... we shed microscopic skin particles all the time, that is why it is in layers.

is that what you tell your kids ? obey only what you agree with? I know we are not children being pastored by a father but i do think we ought to follow a spiritual leader even at times when we may not quite agree or understand. I can look back at times when my old pastor told me things that years later I can see NOW. but at the time i was younger and thought I had more wisdom. it took me till now to catch up to his wisdom and im still trying to catch up!

Are you really digging for truth or just digging? If you'll read carefully, Pauls exhortation in corinthians you'll find plenty of athority to dictate the hair issues. Paul addressed it to them when they were the only church in the fellowship with such a problem. I am trying to integrate your teaching into my existing schema:

that facial hair equals death ...

since you seem to be suggesting that since

facial hair = dead protein
and
sin produced death ... therefore
Adam before the fall did not have facial hair.


However, I have quite a dilemma with it ...

We all know that men and women have testosterone in their body ...
of course men have higher amounts of it ... and that's what makes me MANLY.

We also know that testosterone ... what MAKES ME MANLY ... also has a direct link to producing facial hair ...

If you don't believe me ... see the he-she woman athletes of the 70's and 80's from the former Soviet Eastern bloc countries that were injecting themselves w/ this hormone .... can you say Sasquatch!!!!

Now ....

seeing this link ... and using your model of logic ... does this mean that ADAM WAS EFFEMINATE ...

I mean before the fall ... of course ....

He must've started producing this hormone after biting the fruit ... right????
