I find bitterness as well as envy in some of the posts here. I'm a firm believer that if you are going to walk away from UPC or any other organization do so (as I did 25 years ago) and don't look back until you are ready to come back (as I did four years ago) and by all means don't criticize and poke fun at those who believe as you did in the past. God may judge you if you are wrong. UPC has some of the most beautiful women in the world with their long hair and lack of makeup and jewelry. There's enough of other things to criticize without criticizing any of God's people. Goid will have the final word.
Statistically speaking ANY organization can have "the most beautiful women in the world".
I personally love longer hair on women but I know many with shorter (not butch) styles that are also drop dead gorgeous. And the right amount of makeup can also work wonders and make someone into a va-va-voom who would normally be just a "voom".
Don't tell me the guys in any particular UPC church wouldn't be lining up to meet her if she suddenly started attending.
Maybe if she had combed her hair when she got out of bed and removed the noose from around her neck.
Maybe tied it back in a bun? Put on some "proper" clothing? Got herself a "good" husband? Started growing an organic garden? Had between 6 and 12 kids?
She would turn into this.
Or this.
Or even this.

I am planning on being Dallas in August and I wanted to take a friend to try on wedding dresses for her upcoming wedding. We are both plus sized girls and would feel more comfortable in a store that either specializes or at least has plus size wedding dresses . Names, addresses and phone numbers would be great, and the person to give them to me, gets best answer!
Im sure there are places in to get a plus size wedding dress with sleeves, have a good search on the internet, i dont know of any shops that will do it, as i have never been married, or cheap plus size wedding dresses shopping. But i have also seen people wearing lovely long sleeved shrugs over their wedding dresses, which look really nice, as long as you get the matching colour and material of your dress. I think the internet is the best option for things like that.

I still believe that the anti-jewelry doctrine is completely baseless, particularly if you're going to allow fancy clothes and hairdos.

You go girl, I agree the anti-jewelry doctrine is baseless and for the very reason you have stated.
What gets me is if your going to have long uncut hair let it flow I never did like or think Pentecostal hairs styles were atractive, EVER.

Well, I suppose the guys would be lining up, someone begrudgingly if that was ALL that was available (and also stranded on a desert island in a multi-year "Survivorman" scenario).

I found your post to be very exaggerated and yet at the same time very, very funny.!
