Nope.

Do you have anything other than your opinion to point to when you say that God must not be all-loving or all-powerful "if" He allows pain to exist in the world?

Since He obviously DOES allow pain to exist in the world, then which is it, in your opinion? Is He lacking power or lacking love?

No No No...if you recall that was your statement I simply followed it to the logical end.

Yes, logic. But apparently only your opinion counts, you make a good post-modern.

I never said only my opinion counted. I guess to back up my statement...I have faith that God is good and loving, and scripture gives that faith backbone. I also see in scripture where He has always exercised judgment AND has allowed suffering, so I feel that I must assume the two aren't contradictory.

You're the one who stated that there were only two options regarding God allowing evil/pain in the world. Since we know that He does allow evil/pain to exist in the world, then is it because He lacks love for humanity or lacks the power to stop it?

I definitely believe we are inferior to God in knowledge & power, and therefore can't possibly expect to play by His rules. (With the exception of the rules He has commanded us to follow.) How is that contradictory? Do you believe we have the same knowledge, power and authority as God?

No where was the South Fulton Fire Department Described as volunteer.

The Humane Society of the United States is issuing the following statement in response to the heartbreaking news that four animals died in an Obion County, Tenn., fire because the homeowner didn’t pay a service fee, and firefighters were told they could not extinguish the blaze:

"It is inexcusable that three dogs and a cat would have to die in such a horrible way, with firefighters ordered to not intervene, because of an unpaid $75 service fee. Putting out fires is a matter of life and death for people and animals, and South Fulton city officials should quickly reconsider their emergency response policies before others are put at risk," said Leighann McCollum, Tennessee state director for The HSUS.

Well, to be fair this was a statement issued by an organization that exists to protect animals from abuse.

On the other hand, since they are humans and they seek to be humane they should first of all acknowledge that several humans could have been hurt or killed and lost their home in the process

I was initially irritated over the way the Vick case was handled.

However, he had been warned repeatedly that he was breaking the law and that he was being watched.

Most people who do crimes against animals know they are wrong. They just don't see the big deal.
