Re: Can a christain vote for Obama ?

Can a Christian vote for Obama?

Yes, a Christian can do just about anything he/she wants to do whether it is right or wrong, moral or immoral, legal or illegal.

Should a Christian vote for Obama, or should a Christian vote for a party which promotes homosexuality and abortions? I personally don't think so but some Christians are OK with it. Some Christians believe they have to vote for Prohibitionists, or for Greenies, or for Socialists, or against any military spending. Some Christians believe it is wrong to vote or get involved in any form or politics or government.

My father-in-law was a good man, a World War 2 veteran, a Democrat, and a strong union member (a Teamster). He told me one time, "I'd vote for a n...... if they ran him on the Democrat ticket." He didn't live quite long enough to have that opportunity. I did not agree with his politics but he was sincerely a good man and loved the Lord.

Obama is both corrupt and dishonest. As a crook, he wants to tax the people that make over 250,000 and can't send his half bro in Kenya 100 bucks. The guy lives on less than 20 dollars a month.

Obama has a wicked moral character. Abortion? That alone tells us he hates truth and
Christianity. The way Obama fired the heads of GM and Chrysler and shafted the secured bond holders tells us he is crooked. Bad character comes from being surrounded with shady characters.
People with low moral character think he is cool when he rips into business or an industry. Now he wants unions to be able to spend on political ads and companies to be silenced. Unions don't support his spending madness. Workers and corporations do.

He is popular with the uneducated gubment workers that would be laid off if we got a Reagan conservative.

Nice to read a post form you Bro.

Yes, I also applaud the President being solidly in the corner of Veterans, in word and in deed (even if it is minus that stupid red, white and blue made in China lapel pin).

Truth is I voted for that foul mouthed VP, and don't need to justify it. I am voting for a leader who most closely represents my views of GOVERNMENT not my views of Christianity.

That being said if one believes that Obama best represents their view of how the American Government ought to be then they have an obligation to vote for him.
